Wally James

Wally has over 25 years chemical production experience with much of it gained over his 16 years with Koppers Hickson/Arch Ltd and more recently with Primaxa Ltd, where he was Production Manager

His valuable knowledge and experience adds to the over 200 years industry experience already within the TimTech management team

|
Wally is committed to quality and is well known to many timber treaters as an honest, nice guy who really knows his stuff.

Robin Wilson (Rob)

Rob is a highly experienced, hands-on treatment plant engineer, with a host of successful treatment installations here and in the Pacific Islands

Rob has been associated with the timber industry for many years having worked for Koppers-Hickson, Scotts Engineering and Timber Treatments -Christchurch
|
|
•
|
Besides being a good engineer, Rob has been an NZ Ice hockey representative, then Canterbury Coach and is now advising/coaching the Canterbury Womens ice hockey squad
|
|
Rob Joined TimTech Chemicals Ltd in May 2008. He is based in our Christchurch office

Neil Mora

Neil has a chemistry background of 17 years, including analytical work with pesticides and water chemistry

Graduated from the DSIR Water Quality Centre with a NZ Certificate in Science

Joined Koppers Arch Wood Protection in June 2003 as a Customer Support Executive
|
|
•
|
Joined AgriQuality in October 2005 and trained as an auditor of Quality Management Systems. A member of the forestry team his role included timber preservation plant compliance auditing; quality, health and safety and environment
|
|

Represented the NZ Building Industry Federation on the Standards NZ technical committee for NZS 3640, “Chemical Preservation of Round and Sawn Timber”
|
|
•
|
He has a vast knowledge of the Resource Management Act and the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act, providing advice on legal compliance and from a best practice perspective
|

Joanne Wills

Joanne joined TimTech Chemicals Limited in May 2005 as Accounts Administrator having completed a Diploma in Accounting through the Open Polytechnic.
|
|
•
|
Joanne previously held secretarial positions in the human resources, trading, insurance and banking sectors. From 1980 she had 20 years as a full-time “Mum” to her four children and regards this as the most challenging and rewarding work experience. During this time she served as a volunteer on community committees and boards.
|
|
•
|
In November 2005 she completed the New York Marathon with her husband and two daughters.
